Hinkel nella colonna sonora del prossimo film di Brendan Fehr

Il brano "House of Love" di Hinkel, estratto dall'album "Not A Life-Saving Device", è stato scelto per essere incluso nella colonna sonora del film americano di prossima uscita "The Other Side of The Tracks", diretto da A.D. Calvo e con la star della serie TV 'Roswell' Brendan Fehr nel ruolo del protagonista.

Il film, che inoltre vede la partecipazione di Chad Lindberg ('The Fast And The Furious') e Tania Raymonde ('Lost'), le cui riprese sono finite a luglio, è attualmente in post-produzione e sarà presentato alla selezione del Sundance Film Festival.

Il cast include anche Beatrice Rosen ('Batman: The Dark Night' in uscita nel 2008), Sam Robards ('American Beauty', 'I.A., Intelligenza Artificiale'), Shirley Knight ('Qualcosa È Cambiato'), Stephanie Weir ('Mad TV') e Natassia Malthe ('Elektra'). Produttori esecutivi del progetto sono Karen e Howard Baldwin (Baldwin Entertainment Group).

"The Other Side Of The Tracks" uscirà nel 2008.

Prima data in Italia del Dirk Blümlein Terzett, che si esibirà il 30 luglio a Montopoli in Val d'Arno (in provincia di Pisa), nell'ambito della rassegna MontopoliJazz dell'ottava edizione del MusicaStrada Festival.

Lo spettacolo è ad ingresso gratuito e avrà luogo a partire dalle 21.30 nella Piazza San Matteo di Montopoli.

It's titled "Prendimi" and it is the single which will be on rotation starting from May 11th in the [note: Italian] radios with the label RoadHouse, and which anticipates, at two years of distance from the latest discographic work, the new album of Daniele Groff due to release in autumn.

The artist is completing its production, with his historical producer Marco Patrignani in the prestigious studios of the Forum Music Village in Rome, with the partecipation of Fools Garden (the band of the hit "Lemon Tree" with over 6 millions copies sold).

"Prendimi" was written by Daniele and by Volker Hinkel (producer and guitarist of Fools Garden), recorded in Stuttgart [note: at Hinkelstone Productions] and mixed at the Forum by Dario Dendi (among his credits: Stereophonics, Coldplay and The Killers).

Esce oggi, 4 maggio, il nuovo album del Dirk Blümlein Terzett, la band del bassista dei Fools Garden e del progetto solista Hinkel (di Volker Hinkel).

Questo nuovo album di Dirk Blümlein è intitolato “Freizeitvergnügen” che significa godersi il tempo libero. Il titolo è ben scelto: l'inusuale trio che include basso (Dirk Blümlein), sassofono, clarinetto (Andreas Francke) e batteria (Eckhard Stromer) suona del fusion jazz rilassato. Su “Freizeitvergnügen" si potranno ascoltare bellissime melodie, armonie variate e groove a metà strada tra jazz e pop.

This new album by Dirk Blümlein is called “Freizeitvergnügen” which means something like leisuretime fun. The titel is well chosen: The unusual trio featuring bass (Dirk Blümlein), sax, clarinet (Andreas Francke) and drums (Eckhard Stromer) plays some joyful relaxed fusion jazz. On "Freizeitvergnügen" you'll hear beautiful melodies, varied harmonies and fat grooves between jazz and pop.

Today or tomorrow the new single by Daniele Groff, "Prendimi", will be presented by Fiorello on Radio 2. It is taken from his upcoming album, realized in collaboration with Fools Garden and Volker Hinkel as producer.

Fools Garden on TV [09.02.2007 - NDR - 10 p.m.]

Lo scorso venerdì 9 febbraio, i Fools Garden hanno partecipato alla registrazione dello show TV "Die schönsten Love-Songs" (le più belle canzoni d'amore) a Brema per la TV tedesca NDR. Lo show verrà trasmesso il prossimo venerdì 16 alle 22.

All'interno di questa particolare classifica, "Lemon Tree" ha raggiunto la posizione n. 7.

On the last Friday, February 9th, Fools Garden participated at the TV show "Die schönsten Love-Songs" (The Best Love Songs) in Bremen for the German TV NDR. The show will be broadcasted on Friday February 16th at 10 p.m. "Lemon Tree" reached the 7th position in this particular chart.
